I’m looking for people who are tired of hearing there’s nothing to do here.

I’m trying to start something for young people in Fort Frances — free, open to everyone, run by the people who show up. I don’t have a building yet. I don’t have a schedule. I’m not even incorporated yet. I have an idea, a plan, and a stack of ideas. What I need is you.

Two ways to help

Future board members — 18+. Once this becomes a real organization, it’ll need people to govern it: roughly a meeting a month, plus a few hours between. Help me set it up right from the start.

The founding crew — any age, no commitment. Ideas, volunteering, a room, a truck, a skill — whatever you’ve got. This is where the plan actually gets built.

Being straight with you

• I don’t have a space yet, and I haven’t committed to a schedule.
• This isn’t incorporated yet — that’s one of the first things a founding board would help with.
• Once it is, directors will need to be 18+ and can’t be paid — that’s Ontario law.
• It’ll be real responsibility, not a figurehead role.

What would help

Finance or bookkeeping, fundraising or sales, youth work or teaching, trades or facilities, communications, legal or governance experience, a room on a weeknight, a truck, or just two hours a month and a willingness to figure this out together.
